On the early hours of the 4th April 2011 (GMT) at
wrestle mania XXVII we saw two icons start a war, and what a war this is
turning out to be. The undertaker took on triple H which was a very explosive
match between the two wrestlers. We witnessed sledge hammers, chairs being
used; flying out the ring head first into tables, Tomb stones the full works.
It’s a match that’s never been forgotten a year later.
The undertaker defeated triple H in a no holds barred match
which meant the undertaker carried on his wrestle mania streak with it now
being 19-0. Even though undertaker won his battle with triple H many people
don’t believe he won the war as he was so badly drained and left his all in the
ring he ended up being carried out on a stretcher and triple h walked out the
ring.
On the 30th of January 2012 on Monday night raw
triple H was having a discussion with john laurinatis in the ring when
undertaker returned and interrupted triple H talking. The undertaker strolled
down to the ring and clenched his fists before climbing into the ring; he then
slowly walked around triple H. These two icons never took their eyes off each
other until the undertaker slowly lifts his head up to the Hugh wrestle mania
XXVIII sign above him. The undertaker looked back at triple H and gave him the
cut throat sign indicating the end is near.
Triple H looks on sadly as he pats undertaker on the shoulder and walks
out of the ring. There doesn’t look like there’s going to be a rematch.
The war is about to commence again. On Monday 20th
of February triple H agrees to a match with undertaker at wrestle mania XXVIII
as undertaker gloats that he’s a coward and that he can’t destroy his wrestle
mania streak. Triple H replies ”I can finish it, you know it. I know it. You
want wrestle mania? You got it.”
Triple H has one condition- HELL IN A CELL.
The match at wrestle mania is on!
