The Rocks amazing return

On the evening of the 14^th of February 2011 the whole WWE universe were anxiously waiting to find out who the host of wrestle mania XXVII was going to be. Unbeknown to us all we didn’t expect the roof to be blown off. Once The Rocks soundtrack started playing into the arena my whole body had goose bumps and I felt so excited and happy as if I was a five year old child waking up on Christmas morning seeing that Santa had been. . If you have ever been part of “TEAM BRING IT” then you know exactly what I mean.

  Once The Rock entered the arena after 7 long years the whole WWE universe went crazy with excitement, cheering and screaming. Nobody expected the great ones return. . When he climbed up to the corner of the ring and raised his arm in the air to the WWE universe it just showed how much The Rock is loved by the “ millions and millions” of The Rocks fans. The cheers never once for a split second died down.

Even once The Rocks music stopped playing the crowd were still going crazy for him. When the champ eventually got to speak he said one of the best things that team bring it could ever wish he would say and that was “Finally The Rock has come back....home”.

He explained that he was back at the WWE not because of the pay check and not to promote any movies that he was staring it. He’s back because of the entire WWE universe and that he’s never going away again. The people champ knows how to electrify us all. The Rock and the entire WWE universe went through all the famous best ever catchphrases from the Braham bull, to eye brow raising to whipping your candy arse. The rock is going to lay the smack down at wrestle mania XXVII.

The anonymous general manager rudely interrupts through an email while the Brahma bulls communicating with the people. Michael Cole gets up out of his chair to address the email but The Rock told him that if he opened the laptop he would “slap the taste right out of his mouth”. He even told him that he looked like “a drunken hobbit”.

The rock also had strong words for John Cena and he said them alright. While mocking him about his hand signal” you can’t see me”. He also set off a new name for Cena by calling him a “fruity pebble” which trended worldwide.

The rock left us with “If you smell what The Rock is cooking”.

In my opinion even though the rock returned to Monday night raw over a year ago its one of the most unforgettable nights ever in the history of the WWE.

It’s the start of a new chapter.

The Undertaker vs Triple H

On the early hours of the 4^th April 2011 (GMT) at wrestle mania XXVII we saw two icons start a war, and what a war this is turning out to be. The undertaker took on triple H which was a very explosive match between the two wrestlers. We witnessed sledge hammers, chairs being used; flying out the ring head first into tables, Tomb stones the full works. It’s a match that’s never been forgotten a year later.

The undertaker defeated triple H in a no holds barred match which meant the undertaker carried on his wrestle mania streak with it now being 19-0. Even though undertaker won his battle with triple H many people don’t believe he won the war as he was so badly drained and left his all in the ring he ended up being carried out on a stretcher and triple h walked out the ring.

On the 30^th of January 2012 on Monday night raw triple H was having a discussion with john laurinatis in the ring when undertaker returned and interrupted triple H talking. The undertaker strolled down to the ring and clenched his fists before climbing into the ring; he then slowly walked around triple H. These two icons never took their eyes off each other until the undertaker slowly lifts his head up to the Hugh wrestle mania XXVIII sign above him. The undertaker looked back at triple H and gave him the cut throat sign indicating the end is near.  Triple H looks on sadly as he pats undertaker on the shoulder and walks out of the ring. There doesn’t look like there’s going to be a rematch.

The war is about to commence again. On Monday 20^th of February triple H agrees to a match with undertaker at wrestle mania XXVIII as undertaker gloats that he’s a coward and that he can’t destroy his wrestle mania streak. Triple H replies ”I can finish it, you know it. I know it. You want wrestle mania? You got it.”

Triple H has one condition- HELL IN A CELL.

The match at wrestle mania is on!

Randy Orton vs Kane?

Randy Orton returned to Friday night smack down on the 2^nd of March 2012 after suffering from a concussion after Daniel Bryan smashed his world heavyweight belt over his head. He returned ready for revenge towards Daniel Bryan for a non- title match.

During their match Orton and Bryan are fighting outside the ring when all of a sudden flames of fire break out from the corners of the ring announcing the arrival of Kane.

Kane thunders towards Randy Orton full of rage and hate. Randy notices that it’s himself that Kane has come for, so Randy attacks Kane first but Kane fights off Randy and gets the upper hand over him. They have a punch up before they head into the ring to fight some more. Kane the red monster lands a force felt choke slam on Orton. After Kane has finished what he came to do he tells Randy “welcome back”.

What brought on this brutal act towards Randy Orton?

One thing’s for sure is that Randys not going to let this one lie.

The viper will come back stronger and more poisonous than ever before. Kane has unleashed a monster.

Is this a match for wrestle mania XXVII?

The Undertakers wrestle mania streak

The undertakers winning streak at wrestle mania is one of the main talking points every year at this time of the year (so close to wrestle mania XXVIII). The undertaker holds the streak at the amazing 19-0. What a streak that is! Could come 1^st of April the streak be 20-0? Many people question how long he can keep going on with the wrestle mania streak. Is this his last year with the winning streak? Or can undertaker come back and rise again for many years to come? Roll on wrestle mania XXVIII.  Let the streak continue.

The Undertaker vs Shawn Michael XXVI

On the 2^nd time these two great warriors meet at wrestle mania XXVI it was a very special night, a very promising night for one and a very sad night for the other as the Undertaker and Shawn Michaels agreed that they were fighting for the streak VS the career. If the Undertaker lost the match he would lose his great wrestle mania streak but if Shawn Michael lost the match then he would give up his amazing career. So it was going to be a great night but for only one of them.

The final match of the night arrived and both the Undertaker and Michaels entered the ring ready to fight for their lives.

When the bell rang both Undertaker and Shawn started out with bangs as they seemed to want to finish the match fairly quickly. Not far into the match the Undertaker damaged his leg while he used some of his signature moves on Shawn. Shawn noticed this and was persistent on the leg of Undertaker and he caused more damage.

We all witnessed the full works again off these two warriors, pulling out all the stops on each other. The Undertaker hit Shawn with the choke slam and a tombstone again while Michael hit Undertaker with the moon salt, leg lock submissions which both men effectively kicked out of.

The Undertaker also attempted a power bomb on Shawn but was unsuccessful as Shawn turned the action around and ended up moon salting once again on the leg of the Undertaker.

These two amazing men kept at it for longer than thought and gave each other more of their best moves.

The Undertaker at one point near the end of their match told Shawn to stay down but Shawn responded by slapping the Undertaker across his face. Undertaker saw red and hit him with his final tombstone and pins Shawn down and wins the match once again.

The streak remains 18-0.

Shawn Michael’s career ends.

The Undertaker vs Shawn Michael at wrestle mania XXV

With wrestle mania XXVIII almost here the undertakers winning streak is always remembered. Not many men even came close to stopping the undertaker and made it look like a walk in the park for him. But there was one man that almost came close, not once but twice. You know who I’m talking about! Shawn “the heartbreak kid” Michaels.

At wrestle mania XXV and XXVI Shawn gave undertaker a run for his money that for sure.

The 25^th Anniversary for wrestle mania undertaker was ready and raring to go while Shawn looked cool and collected before the bell rang. Once the bell rang undertaker was flying punches at the heart break kid but he never connected, while Michaels struck him with quite a few back hander’s which riled undertaker. After two and a half minutes of the match undertaker caught Michaels with a fair few nasty punches leading to Michaels been knocked off his feet on many occasions with the force from the undertaker. Both men were full of energy adding to the excitement for the entire WWE universe.

Shawn Michaels ended up getting undertaker into a submission leg lock which was looking promising until undertaker punched his way out of it.

Both men tried to finish the match early on with undertaker attempting the choke slam, kicks to Shawn’s head and tomb stones and not to mention submission hold but HBK kicked out an all occasions. While Shawn was just as determined as undertaker to finish him off he also got him into submission holds, attacking his knee which made it a lot weaker. HBK even attempted the moon salt backwards from the top rope out of the ring on to the undertaker but unfortunately for Shawn the undertaker moved out of the way just in the nick of time. One of the best moves for me was when undertaker ran out the ring head first towards Shawn but he pulled the cameraman in the firing line instead and he feels the full impact of the undertaker.

These two pull no punches they go all out.

It came close for both men to win throughout their match but just as Michaels tried to attempt another moon salt move off the top rope the undertaker caught him in mid air and did his signature move the tombstone again. The undertaker pinned him straight away and won the match remaining with his winning streak at 17-0.

Shaun Michaels had never lost a fight to the undertaker before.

CM PUNK vs Chris Jerico

On the 2^nd of January 2012 Chris Jericho returned to Monday night raw to cheers and the crowd shouting “Y2J” and “WELCOME HOME”. The crowd eagerly wait for him to speak to the WWE UNIVERSE regarding his return to the WWE but it never came. After about ten long minutes later he just left without addressing the WWE UNIVERSE.

Then on the 19^th of February 2012 on Monday night raw the elimination chamber match began. Chris Jericho was one of the contenders alongside CM PUNK and more superstars. CM PUNK was defending his WWE CHAMPIONSHIP. After the other superstars got eliminated CM PUNK, Chris Jericho and The Miz were the last 3 remaining. Punk lands and amazing kick to the back of Jericho head leading him flying into the cameraman with great force. Jericho was no longer able to continue with the match and was eliminated. CM PUNK later defended his WWE title after beating the Miz.

So at wrestle mania XXVIII CM PUNK will defend his WWE championship title to Chris Jericho because the night after elimination chamber Jericho won a 10-man no1 contenders battle royal to take on CM PUNK.

There’s no denying these two superstars dislike each other and both think they are the best in the world.

Come the 1^st of April 2012 who will be the WWE champion and the best in the world?
